The
Mission of
Carteret Arts Forum
is to bring enriching cultural experiences to Carteret County
and surrounding areas.
Carteret
Arts Forum was founded in 1999 as an all volunteer, non-profit
organization for the benefit of Carteret County and surrounding
areas. It strives to promote, and educate through the cultural
arts. Carteret Arts Forum makes a special effort to include area
students and to support monetarily selected local arts endeavors
and events. Yearly
subscriptions are available to the public.
Best known as the “Phantom”, D’Ambrosio's show weaves heart -warming
stories from his youth in the Bronx with marvelous songs from your
favorite Broadway Shows. Winners of his “Call for Christine
& Raoul”contest will perform a
number during the concert.CAF has
support for this project from the Carteret Charitable Gift Fund, a
component fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation.

Carteret Arts Forum in presenting Kevin Reese in a performance for
all ages inspired by the work of American artist Alexander Calder.

Yu Wei: Chinese Culture & History through Dance

“Yu Wei took everyone’s breath away…she
is pure beauty” Philadelphia Inquirer
Yu Wei’s dance art is
inspired both by nature and the human condition. Featuring
music from China and the world, original costumes, professional
lighting and sets. Short films are shown between dances that
depict the Chinese culture and artistic background of both dance and
dancer.
Southern icon Lewis Grizzard always
boasted he was “Southern by the grace of God”. This 2 act drama
features South Carolina actor Bill Oberst, Jr., a dead-ringer for
the late Atlanta Constitution
columnist, and consists entirely of Grizzard’s own words:
beloved jokes, stories, excerpts from columns and books including
the famous Definition of a Redneck.
