The Mission of Carteret Arts Forum
is to bring enriching cultural experiences to Carteret County and surrounding areas.

Carteret Arts Forum was founded in 1999 as an all volunteer, non-profit organization for the benefit of Carteret County and surrounding areas. It strives to promote, and educate through the cultural arts. Carteret Arts Forum makes a special effort to include area students and to support monetarily selected local arts endeavors and events. Yearly subscriptions are available to the public.

What is Carteret Arts Forum?

Carteret Arts Forum is a nonprofit organization whose effort is to bring a high quality performing arts and speaker series to Carteret County.  Comprised of an all volunteer board, the Forum offers this enriching cultural experience to Carteret County and surrounding areas.

What is the Arts Council of Carteret County?

The mission of the Arts Council of Carteret County is to encourage and support the development, promotion and expansion of the arts in Carteret County.

Is Carteret Arts Forum part of the Carteret Arts Council? NO

How does Arts Forum finance their programs?

Carteret Arts Forum is financed primarily by subscribers to the program series and a few generous donors.

Do other groups in Carteret County benefit from these cultural programs?

            Yes, an effort is made to bring students to our programs when appropriate.  We also sponsor programs for the schools and the adult community outside the subscription series.

How long has Carteret Arts Forum been in existence?

            The CAF has a continuous history of presenting performing arts and speakers since 1999.
