 Cabaret Singer

Mary Jo Vitale is a singer with an incredible range. She sings opera, Broadway musicals, ballads and bawdy. She moves through the audience so she can get up close and personal. She has a huge repertoire and she gauges her performance as she goes along. The audience will be swooning one moment, tearing up the next and then laughing out loud. Mary Jo is beautiful inside and out – you will know that as soon as she enters the room.

  Former CIA Spy and Author

Box lunch from Panera Bread - $12.00 for lunch,

For a reservation please e-mail: [email protected]

What does it take to make a spy? Patriotism; heroism; ability to blend in; ability to eavesdrop without suspicion; innocence and especially, false assumptions by those our heroine is spying on. Imagine yourself living in Laos as a young bride in the early 1970’s in less than desirable circumstances when your husband who is a CIA Agent is killed in a helicopter crash. What would you do? Go home and live in obscurity? Remarry and raise children and become a PTA President. Or perhaps, you would learn Russian and become a CIA Agent in Moscow during the Cold War.

 One Man Play

Hank Fincken has an M.A. in English from Indiana University, served three years in the Peace Corps and has published more than 30 short stories, poems and essays on his historic characters, the creative process, and the arts. He will transport us to another time when we meet him as Thomas Edison in an interactive performance.

Two School Programs February 25, 2015

Selected grade levels at Newport Elementary and Atlantic Elementary will see Hank Fincken as Johnny Appleseed. Mr. Fincken views his role as a teaching artist as complementary to that of teachers. “Teachers are my colleagues and teammates, while students remind me that I am still a student, and we share the joy of discovery.”

Sunday, September 28, 2014 5:00 pm Coral Bay Club, Atlantic BeachFee: $25 Non-Subscription program Doors open at 4:00 pm (cash bar)

Lecturer - “Brothers Not Twins: Separating Wilbur & Orville Wright”

The Wright Brothers will always be enormously famous, but their individual personalities have been swallowed up in history. Through meticulous biographical research, Dr. Engel reveals two equally fascinating but utterly different individuals who, working together, produced – in the airplane – one of mankind’s most revolutionary inventions.
